Welcome to Alexandra Torres' creative world! Art has been a part of her life from the very beginning, growing up painting alongside her father, Horacio Torres, a renowned abstract figurative artist. In his Soho studio she first experimented with brushes and colors on newsprint, sparking a lifelong passion. Later studying at NYU and the Art Students League, initially painting still lifes and nudes. Critic Clement Greenberg led her to explore bold color fields and dreamlike compositions. Her work captures Emotion and Movement, inviting you to find your own meaning in each piece!

“Art isn’t just something we see, it’s something we connect with. When we create or bring a piece into our lives it opens a window into our selves, desires, and emotions, sparking a personal conversation between us and the Art.”
