Alexandra Torres welcomes you to her creative space to explore her work. Her artistic profession began at an early age, coming from a family of three generations of creators. She pursued education at New York University and attended classes at the Art Students League. Initially painted traditional subjects such as still life and nudes, her artistic direction shifted inspired by the abstract expressionist movement. She explored new perspectives and distances for the composition of the artwork, leading her to experiment with painting large color fields. Her goal is transmuting the world around us into oneiric visions dripping with emotive motion and energy.
